MISSION STATEMENT
Brandt Law provides legal services to businesses across industries with a focus on the retail industry.
Each of our team members has experience working in an in-house legal department. Beyond gaining legal experience, such work has afforded our team members an opportunity to understand the inner workings of a business including interaction between departments, policy drafting and application, goal setting, budgetary constraints, and risk assessment.
Therefore, our goal is to provide high quality insightful advice and counsel in a business friendly manner that is both time and cost efficient.
Brandt Law is an accredited Women Business Entity (WBE) Firm for NYS, NYC and the Port Authority and has additional certification as a Women Owned Business from the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
We advise retailers, providers of consumer goods and services, vendors, consultants, and suppliers doing business within the retail and consumer good industries, and foreign parties with existing or new ventures in the US marketplace.
In-house Knowledge and Experience Provided on an Outside Counsel Basis
After spending nearly 20 years as in-house counsel in the venture capital, hospitality/property management, and retail industries, Laura’s skills and approach to providing legal counsel is differentiated from other attorneys since she has worked directly with project teams on developing business goals and implementing action plans to meet those goals.
Further, consideration is given to budgets, real-time employee matters, and acceptable risk level. As such, Brandt Law applies the law and provides counsel in a practical, business friendly and cost-effective manner.
