Intellectual Property

 

Advise on overall brand protection strategy including registrations for trademark, service mark and copyrights, drafting and responding to cease and desist letters.

Through our contract services, provide appropriate intellectual property protection provisions for logos, tradenames, background IP, foreground IP, and other intellectual property assets.

Corporate Governance


Proper entity formation of corporations  and limited liability companies.  Drafting of JV (joint venture) agreements. Handling of corporate governance matters such as board meeting minutes, resolutions, and written consents.

HR Consulting

 

Working with the client's team providing insight and assistance in drafting employee policies and handling difficult or novel employee matters. Further, Brandt Law can provide appropriate training to managers and employees as needed such as sexual harassment and worker safety training protocols.

Outside / Fractional General Counsel


Comprehensive legal oversight across legal areas impacting the client on a retainer basis.  This is usually for a company with a growing need for legal services  but such needs do not yet justify a full time employee or the associated salary.  These services are also used by companies who are handling disability leave or other interim replacement of a General Counsel.
